Clock faces need restoration periodically and generally require some Gold Leaf Gilding. Sometimes worked on at site, occasionally brought into the workshop. Hands tend to have to be worked on separately or at least with the mechanism stopped.
In some instances we have been asked to change digits to Roman Numerals, or add additional detail such as House or Estate name.
