As sun dials get weathered by the elements and direct sunlight they will need periodic restoration. Reapplication of the Gold Leaf Gilding and paintwork will bring them back to life, while still keeping the original artefact and its history. We can work around the sun dial and its positioning by working from scaffolding on site or bringing it into the workshop.
